1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Splicer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors and users of thesplicer.app.

2. Description of Service

The Splicer provides browser-based video processing tools, including frame extraction from MOV video files and silence removal. All processing occurs locally in your browser — no video files are uploaded to or stored on our servers at any point.

3. Payments & One-Time Purchases

Access to each processing session requires a one-time payment based on your video's duration. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you are paying for a single processing session as defined by the tier you selected.

Each paid session grants up to 2 processing attempts on the same video. After that, a new payment is required.

4. No Refunds

All sales are final. Because all processing happens locally and is delivered immediately upon payment, we do not offer refunds once a session has been unlocked.

If you encounter a technical issue that prevented you from using the service after payment, please contact us at support@movframeconverter.com and we will review your case.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload or process video content that infringes any third-party copyright or intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service in any unauthorized way.
• Use the Service to process content that is illegal, harmful, or violates any applicable law.

You are solely responsible for the content you process using the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Splicer and all associated branding, design, and code are the intellectual property of Sulayman Touray. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission.

Any video content you process remains entirely your own. We claim no rights over your footage or the frames and clips produced by the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce results suitable for any specific purpose. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Splicer and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including loss of data, loss of profits, or any other intangible losses.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
